William Mosley from Northwestern State has been selected for StatSheet's Southland Player of the Week for January 30th. Craig McFerrin from McNeese State has won StatSheet's Southland Freshman of the Week. And last but not least, Bradley Gay from Texas-Arlington has won StatSheet's Southland 6th Man of the Week.

Mosley topped the Southland in rebounding (10.0 per game) and blocked shots (5.5 per game). He also put up a strong showing in scoring (15 pts per game) and shooting (70%). The Northwestern State senior played well for the Demons in wins against Lamar and Southeastern Louisiana.

Mosley led all rebounding for the Demons with 8 while adding 5 blocked shots in a 74-62 win over Lamar. In the next game he led all scoring and rebounding with a 14 point and 12 rebound performance in a 55-38 win against Southeastern Louisiana.

This is the first StatSheet Southland Player of the Week honor for William Mosley. The runner-up this week is our own Mike James. Honorable mention goes to our own Anthony Miles.

StatSheet Southland Freshman of the Week: McNeese State's Craig McFerrin

Craig McFerrin averaged 18 minutes of playing time starting both games for McNeese State. His averages in both scoring (8.5 pts per game) and rebounding (8.0 per game) led all Southland freshmen. In a late 60-56 win over Nicholls State, McFerrin led all scoring for the Cowboys with 12 points and all rebounding with 11. In an 87-76 win over Central Arkansas, he totaled 5 points and 5 rebounds.

This is the second time for Craig McFerrin, who won the StatSheet Southland Freshman of the Week earlier this season. The runner-up is Sam McBeath from Nicholls State. Honorable mention goes to Johnathan Jordan from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

StatSheet Southland 6th Man of the Week: Texas-Arlington's Bradley Gay

Senior Bradley Gay, a 6-4 reserve guard, played an average of 20 minutes over two games for the Mavericks. In a close 79-74 win over Houston Baptist, Gay put up 5 points and 3 rebounds. After that, in a last-minute 82-79 win over Texas State, he racked up 9 points and 5 rebounds.

This is the second StatSheet Southland 6th Man of the Week win for Bradley Gay. James Hulbin, a junior forward from Northwestern State, is runner up.
